Smashbox Ochre Always On Cream Eyeshadow ($22.00 for 0.34 oz.) is a deep yellow with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. It was intensely pigmented, where a little went a long way, paired with a smooth, lightweight, and velvety consistency that was thin, lightweight, and blended out well on bare skin.
It dried down fast enough not to settle into fine lines or creases, but you'd definitely want to work one eye at a time to avoid it setting before one had a chance to diffuse the edges. Once the formula set, it could no longer be moved or blended out without lifting up and creating patchiness. This shade had visible creasing present after nine hours of wear--it was one of the longer-wearing shades in the range.
