Emerald is a medium green with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. The eyeshadow had good color coverage, though it wasn't opaque without a primer or a dampened brush. The consistency was soft, somewhat dusty in the pan, but it blended out easily along the edges for me in practice. This shade wore well for seven and a half hours before fading visibly on my lid.
