Burnt Umber is a muted, dark brown with warm, red undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable color payoff with a soft, lightly dusty texture that was a little chalky in the pan but blended out without too much work or dryness. The color lasted for seven and a half hours on me.
