Sephora + Pantone Universe Serenity Lipstick ($18.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a light-medium, periwinkle blue with cool undertones and a natural sheen. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that covered fairly evenly, though it could have been smoother overall. The texture had a lot of slip, so it slides around easily and would greatly benefit from a lip liner or primer, as it only lasted for two hours before it had significantly migrated into lip lines and looked like a mess. I was surprised at the overall pigmentation--no copping out here in the name of Serenity--but I wish it was less white-based and had less slip. It was neither drying nor hydrating on me. If you layer it to minimize the strength of the blue, I'd recommend pairing with something matte and patting it on top (vs. wearing it as the base) to avoid a lot of the pitfalls of the texture. NYX Earl Grey (P, $6.00) is brighter (90% similar). MAC Dew (P, $19.00) is darker, cooler (85% similar). Fenty Beauty Ya Dig (P, $18.00) is darker (80% similar). KVD Beauty Dagger (P, $20.00) is darker, less glossy (80% similar). Sephora 5-0 Grind (56) (P, $8.00) is less shimmery, darker, cooler (80% similar).
