Sephora Rosewood Lip Last Matte Lipstick ($14.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark pink with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. A single layer yielded opaque coverage that applied evenly without tugging or dragging on my lips.
The lipstick had a lightweight, smooth, and more velvety consistency that felt like a melting, silicone-based primer on my lips but didn't have the true slip or wetness of more traditional lipstick formulas. It could have sat more flatteringly on my lips, though I was able to smooth out the product a bit after a few minutes of wear without the formula lifting up. After 10 minutes, it was set in place and transfer-resistant while still being very flexible and not clingy at all. It lasted nicely for six hours and felt non-drying over time.
