Rescue Beauty Lounge Purple Haze Nail Lacquer ($18.00 for 0.5 fl. oz.) is described as a "vivid violet," which is an accurate depiction of this shade. It has a cream finish, applies opaque in two coats, and has a slightly jelly-like quality to me. In some lighting, it seems like a red-based purple, but then in other lighting, it seems more blue-based. Purple Haze's formula was impeccable--even flow, not too thick or thin, and no bubbling. I typically get a full week of wear with RBL's formula.
