Berry Brilliance is a slightly muted, reddish-plum with subtle, warm undertones and a satin sheen. The blush had a more luminous sheen--but not overtly shimmery--when buffed and blended out on my skin. The consistency was lightweight, smooth, and thin but not powdery or dry, and it yielded mostly opaque coverage in a single layer, so I really had to use care to get more medium, buildable coverage as marketed. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading a bit on me.
