It was richly pigmented with a light-medium weight consistency that had some slip, which I found caused feathering after four hours of wear (though the color itself was still going strong after six hours). I was impressed at how even it applied, as darker shades (especially when liquid or slippery) tend to apply poorly. It was neither drying nor hydrating.
