Natasha Denona Black is a neutral-toned, very dark black with a satin finish. It is a permanent eyeliner that retails for $26.00 and contains 0.02 oz.
Natasha Denona Black Macro Blade Liquid Liner ($26.00 for 0.02 oz.) is a deep black with neutral-to-cool undertones and a satiny sheen. The formula is supposed to be "long wearing" with "jet-black color payoff" that will not "smudge, budge, or fade over time." It definitely did not dry down to a fully matte/flat matte finish, though it wasn't visibly shimmery--just moderately shiny.
It had opaque color coverage readily, and the color continued to deposit evenly and with full coverage as I drew lines and swirls far longer than what one would need in practice (as eyeliner). It was easy to maneuver with along the curvature of the lid as the tip was flexible without being floppy, which also ensured it was comfortable to work with.
The "con" was that it was almost too fluid and smooth, so it was necessary to use a quicker stroke to avoid too much product in the initial place. The formula dried down fast enough not to migrate, and it was very long-wearing--definitely transfer-proof, smudge-proof, and seemingly waterproof. It was still going strong after 16 hours of wear.
