NARS Hot Tin Roof is a moderately warm-toned, dark copper with a matte finish. It is a limited edition blush that retails for $30.00 and contains 0.5 oz.
NARS Hot Tin Roof Liquid Blush ($30.00 for 0.50 oz.) is a deep, coral-red with warm undertones and a natural, matte finish. It was richly pigmented and a little went a long way--that's the big "downside" as it was not what I would consider "buildable" as the formula was described. One pump of product might be enough to blush the entire face! I used the merest press of the pump on the back of my hand and then used even less than that to get semi-sheer coverage.
The formula itself was lovely--thin, spreadable, and quick to dry down and set but with enough play time to blend and diffuse the edges without lifting up one's base (and it worked well on bare skin, too). It stayed on well for nine hours on me before fading slightly. I think as long as you don't mind working with a very pigmented liquid blush (or you prefer high pigmentation in your blush!), it's well-worth checking out.
