Exxxcess is a rich, deeper berry with cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. I felt like it was functionally matte in practice, but there was a very fine shimmer running through it. It had opaque color coverage with a soft, blendable consistency that wasn't too powdery nor too firmly pressed in the pan. It wore nicely for eight hours before fading a bit.
