NARS Dark Room Nail Polish ($20.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a "blue denim." It's a muted, navy blue with a cream finish. There's a slight warmth to it (though it is a cool-toned color) compared to a true blue polish. It had a slightly thinner consistency, but it wasn't watery or streaky. Application was pretty easy as the color didn't bubble or pool along the edges, and it was opaque after two coats. I did have noticeable staining after swatching this, so I would recommend a good base coat to prevent staining of the natural nail during wear. Chanel Magic (LE, $27.00) is slightly lighter. NARS Superstar (LE, $20.00) is very similar. Chanel Blue Rebel (LE, $27.00) is cooler-toned. Zoya Natty (P, $9.00) is slightly cooler-toned, lighter. Essie Go Overboard (LE, $8.00) is lighter.
