La Dame En Noir is a medium-dark reddish burgundy with cooler undertones and a jelly-like finish, though it was lacking the gel-like quality of a true jelly. It had more of the translucency and shine of a jelly polish to me. The formula was thin, watery, and prone to streaking, which was especially noticeable on the first layer. I expected the second layer to help smooth and even out the finished result, but it did not help entirely--there were areas with more coverage and areas that looked sheerer. It had semi-opaque coverage after two layers. Butter London Blowing Raspberries (P, $15.00) is lighter, cooler, better quality (95% similar). MAC Underfire (LE, $16.00) is darker (90% similar).
