Submissive is a medium-dark khaki green with warm, olive undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-sheer pigmentation that was buildable to semi-opaque coverage with two to three layers. The consistency was powdery and prone to sheering out, so it was troublesome to build up the coverage as there was a moderate amount of fallout. The eyeshadow wore well for seven and a half hours on me.
