Ashes to Ashes is described as a "shimmery violet based brown." It's a medium brown with a frosted sheen and subtle warm undertones. The texture was stiffer, and the color didn't go on as strongly as it looked in the pan--it also looked a lot more golden swatched than it does in the pan. MAC Crushed Clove (P, $15.00) is warmer.
