Tempera is a medium-dark brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was somewhat powdery, so there was light fallout as I applied and blended out the eyeshadow, though it was blendable and easy to work with otherwise. It had semi-opaque, buildable coverage that was better applied over a primer. It lasted well for seven and a half hours before fading noticeably.
