Melt Cosmetics Fetish SexFoil Liquid Highlighter ($39.00 for 1.01 oz.) is a light pink with subtle, warm undertones and flecks of lighter, cooler pink and gold sparkle throughout. It was one of the shades that had both finer pearl and more visible sparkle to it. The texture was more fluid, like a watery-gel, but it was thin and very spreadable, which was great for all-over application and working on the body. The formula dried down fully within a few seconds but wasn't immovable, so one could finesse edges if needed.
For application to the face, the pump dispensed an excessive amount of product and was hard to depress it lighter. I recommend applying some to the back of your hand first, then using a separate brush to swirl through the product, then apply to the face for more targeted highlighting. This produced a semi-sheer, buildable-level of coverage that was controllable and didn't have to be spread out further than desired to get an even layer.
It worked well applied all-over, on bare skin as a targeted highlighter, and over foundation as it wasn't prone to lifting up my base products. It wore well for eight and a half hours as a cheek highlighter, but it wasn't as transfer-resistant as marketed.
