Atole is a muted, deep beige with subtle, yellow undertones and a matte finish. It was the type of shade that one might call a light brown or a deep beige, but I find that within the spectrum of brown, it's still quite a bit light so I'd say more beige. It had opaque pigmentation that applied well to bare skin with a smooth, even lay down of color that blended out well. It lasted for eight hours on me before I noticed fading.
