The formula is supposed to be a "pure matte" lipstick that "glide[s] onto lips." It is designed as a more matte version of the brand's Creamy Matte Lip Color, which was also described as a "burst of bold lip color." It has the feel of an old school lipstick to me--drying, tugging but more matte than a lot of today's matte lipsticks (well, traditional bullet-style lipsticks). They take a lot of pressure just to drag them across the lips, and the evenness of the coverage suffered noticeably for some shades as a result. The formula lasted between four and six hours but was on the drying side. The formula had a sweet, floral scent and no discernible taste to me.
