Makeup by Mario Kristen Ultra Suede Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a rich, raspberry pink with cool undertones and a soft matte finish. The texture was very lightweight and thin on my lips, but the feel was firmer, denser but not as velvety as I've encountered with formulas similar to this (silicone-heavy, often billed as "soft matte").
It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation that applied evenly, but the firmer feel made it hard to apply in a fluid motion. It stayed on well for five and a half hours, left a stain behind, and felt slightly drying over time.
