Hermosa is a deep, reddened plum with subtle, cool undertones and a soft sheen. It had buildable coverage from semi-opaque to opaque (two layers), but it seemed "too pigmented" relative to how it was marketed, so I'd recommend dabbing a little on the center of lips and using a fingertip to spread and diffuse the product out for a sheerer effect. The texture was lightweight, thin, and a little airy, which helped it spread evenly over my lips. There was a touch of product that sank into my deeper lip lines but wasn't apparent from a normal viewing distance. It stayed on well for six hours and was neither drying nor hydrating.
