MAC Simply Swinging is a very cool-toned, light-medium taupe with a cream finish. It is a limited edition nail lacquer that retails for $12.00 and contains 0.34 oz.
MAC Simply Swinging Studio Nail Lacquer ($12.00 for 0.34 fl. oz.) is described as a "grey lilac." It's a muted, light-medium lavender purple with neutral-to-warm undertones and a cream finish. The consistency was slightly thick, and it didn't level out as much as it could have, so some areas looked thicker and more opaque than others. It had a really nice high-shine finish, though. After two coats, it had mostly opaque coverage. I typically get a week of wear out of MAC's polish. Cult Nails Let's Get Dirty (P, $12.00) is lighter, warmer (85% similar). Essie Warm & Toasty Turtleneck (P, $8.00) is lighter, cooler (85% similar). Formula X Perfection (P, $14.00) is darker (85% similar). Zoya Normani (P, $9.00) is darker, warmer (85% similar). Rescue Beauty Lounge Forgiveness (LE, $20.00) is cooler (85% similar). Zoya Jana (P, $9.00) is darker, warmer (80% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
