First of all, I prefer the MAC Pro Longwear Lip Pencil better than the standard MAC lip liner. Is creamier, easier to apply and lasts a very long time on the lips. If I dislike something about it, is the fact that it sometimes sharpens poorly and the pencil plastic gets sharp edges.
As for the In Control shade, I really like this color. I'm a brunette with light-medium yellow tone skin (NC20-25) and my lips have a naturally mauvish color. On me In Control is an intense, medium-dark rosy-brown (slightly more brown on my complexion, but more rosy swatched), which still manages to look somewhat natural. The finish is matte, the color is opaque and I use it all over my lips (with lip balm on top, since it's quite drying). I personally find that I can get a nice even application all over the lips with Pro Longwear lip pencils, but it will pull a little. I first bought it to wear it with Brave lipstick, but it's darker on me than Brave.
