Deep Brown is described as a "dark chocolate brown." It's a muted, medium-dark brown with soft, warm undertones and a matte finish. It was very, very finely-milled and silky. Even dry, it is more buildable to opaque color as it layers well. It was semi-sheer applied dry, and it was opaque applied damp (and it seemed to go on okay with a damp brush, despite it being a matte finish). On me, it lasted for eight hours before fading.
