MAC Modern Lure is a moderately cool-toned, dark berry with a pearl finish. It is a limited edition lipgloss that retails for $21.00 and contains 0.1 oz.
MAC Modern Lure Lipglass ($16.50 for 0.17 fl. oz.) is described as a "deep violet with pink pearl." It's a cool-toned, medium-dark berry-red with a smattering of cool-toned, fuchsia pink shimmer. This is one of the less shimmery shades, so the sparkle effect is subtle. It had semi-opaque color coverage, and it applied fairly evenly and only lightly settled into lip lines. In general, it applied better than a lot of other semi-opaque berry glosses I've tried, but it's not perfect. It is nice for layering over pinks and plums as well. This shade wore well for four hours on me. Maybelline Caviar Couture (050) (P, $8.99) is brighter. MAC Lust for Life (LE, $15.00) is brighter, warmer. MAC Rebel (LE, $15.00) is cooler-toned.
