MAC Haute Sauce Eyeshadow ($18.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a deep, brick red with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was slightly drier to the touch--a bit dusty in the pan--but it wasn't prone to fallout and had excellent pigmentation in a single layer.
It applied evenly and blended out without too much effort but could have been easier to work with overall. It lasted nicely for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.
