MAC Soul Serenade Extra Dimension Eyeshadow ($19.50 for 0.04 oz.) is described as a "deep plum brown." It's a deep, dark taupe with cool undertones and an almost metallic sheen. It was semi-opaque applied dry, then fully opaque when I applied it with a dampened brush. MAC 2x Dare #5 (LE) is less metallic. Urban Decay Armor (LE, $18.00) is similar.
