LORAC Beauty and the Beast PRO Eyeshadow Palette ($48.00 for 0.32 oz.) includes 16 eyeshadows that are supposed to be all new and using the brand's PRO formula. The eyeshadows felt smooth, finely-milled, and had some powderiness (as a result of being so soft) and felt comparable to past Pro palettes, though I have found that the original Pro palettes seem to have more substance and adhere better (without primer) than newer palettes.
Some shades were pigmented, while others were sheer, and some applied fine without primer and others sheered out so easily that it was impossible to maintain opaque coverage on the lid. The wear was six to eight hours with a lot of shades falling short. The palette itself is massive, as it was designed to resemble a book, which keeps with the theme but still made it bulky and not at all travel-friendly.
