Heat is a medium-dark, coppery red with warm, orange undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. The eyeshadow had opaque color coverage in a single layer. The consistency was smooth, cream-like, and denser but not difficult to pickup or to blend out on the lid. The color started to crease on me after seven and a half hours of wear.
