Guerlain Ruby Red (880) Rouge G Luxurious Velvet Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a bright, medium-dark red with cooler undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which applied evenly across my lips and didn't emphasize my lip texture.
The texture felt smooth, more velvety and lightweight (but not clingy!), which helped it feel comfortable while being longer-wearing. It stayed on nicely for six and a half hours, left a stain behind, and felt lightly hydrating. The only issue is the wear time claimed was 16 hours (sigh!).
