Platinum Pearl is a soft pewter with subtle, warmer gold pearl shimmer. It had semi-sheer coverage, which was buildable to medium coverage when two to three layers. It had a drier texture, even in the tube, that made it harder to apply evenly and less blendable. This particular shade was decent over bare skin but lifted up foundation quite a bit, and I did not find a way to make it workable over foundation. On me, it lasted for six and a half hours.
