Layered together, they create a neutral-to-warm, mid-tone purple with a strong, metallic finish. When I applied the deeper shade as a blush and then blended the lighter shade on top as a highlighter, it was extremely metallic and did emphasize my skin's natural texture (when worn more heavily).
