Essie Naughty Nautical Nail Lacquer ($8.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is a vibrant, medium-dark green-teal with soft, white sparkle. MAC Ocean Dip is darker, no shimmer. Illamaqua Venous is more muted, no shimmer. Zoya Zuza is more shimmery. See comparison swatches. The formula was good; the color was mostly opaque after two coats with the barest bit of the nail line coming through when there was a lot of light in the room. It dried down to a glossy shine, and the sparkles are still somewhat visible even at a distance. The consistency wasn't too thick or too thin, so I didn't have any trouble applying even layers of the polish. I normally get seven days of wear with minor tip wear with Essie's formula.
