Dominique Cosmetics Cold Heart Beautiful Mess Liquid Eyeshadow ($20.00 for 0.27 oz.) is a light-medium blue base with flecks of cooler gold sparkle throughout. It had a more frosted finish to its base, which was prone to emphasizing lid texture and getting chunky if built up (which the formula was supposed to do!). The texture was thin, more watery, and was one of the hardest to apply with any sense of evenness from the range.
It had sheer, uneven coverage that dried down fairly quickly and set in place for all-day wear (10 hours without fading/creasing). If I tried to apply a second or third layer for greater opacity, the product looked uneven in thickness and was more prone to flaking/cracking a bit. I'd recommend using a fluffy, synthetic brush to diffuse it all over the lid... and it's best if you're someone who wants a bit of a "beautiful mess" on the lids.
