Dior Sugar Shade (257) is a limited edition eye palette that retails for $63.00 and contains 0.24 oz.
Dior Sugar Shade (257) High Fidelity Colours & Effects Eyeshadow Palette ($63.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a new, limited edition palette for spring, which features a pop of blue, two pinks, golden beige, and a plummy brown. All five shades had some shimmer in them, though some were more shimmery than others. The blue ends up working primarily as a "pop" of color, most easily incorporated as an inner corner or lower lash line shade as it didn't flow as well with the other shades. The two pinks had a tendency to lose some of their nuance when applied together. I find Dior tends to put together interesting color schemes, but I didn't feel like this coordinated as well as others have in the past.
An icon of the Dior look, the 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow is now reinvented with more intense pigments and richer effects. A variety of textures come together in a single palette to style the eyes with a layering technique. The Dior laboratories' expertise enables a bold, color-true result. The non-powdery texture blends into an incredibly fine film with spectacular hold, delivering a highly pigmented formula and a second-skin finish. From totally matte palettes to multi-effect harmonies, each combination of 5 Couleurs includes two double-ended foam applicators to easily blend the colors to create endless eye looks. These highly pigmented shades impart a second-skin effect with ultimate staying power.
