Dune #4 is a medium, reddish-copper with warmer, more orange undertones in the base paired with pink and gold pearl that gave it a metallic finish. The texture was smooth to the touch, dense without being too firmly-pressed into the pan, and melted on my lid. It had nearly opaque pigmentation applied dry, but it was lighter and more orange in hue, whereas the dampened application was richer and deeper in color. This shade stayed on well for eight hours before fading visibly.
