The formula is supposed to "deliver 8 [hours] of unparalleled shine" with "sheer, vibrant colour." Based on the brand's promotional swatches, it seems that "sheer, vibrant colour" translates to more of a medium to semi-opaque coverage-level with a "juicy" look to it--shiny, lightly glossy. There's definitely pigmentation, but there's also a translucency that gives it a more balm-like look applied. The texture of the formula was smooth, balm-like, and definitely melted against the lips, which made it comfortable to apply as it glided easily across my lips; it almost felt a little oily. The downside to the formula is that I have no idea how they managed to get the shades to last anywhere near eight hours--and they call out shine, specifically--and it's just such an emollient formula that has wear time between three and four hours. They had a sweet, vanilla scent but no discernible taste.
