Up in the Air is a muted, dark plum with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. The eyeshadow was richly pigmented with a smooth consistency that wasn't too thick or too thin, so it applied evenly and maintained its coverage level even as I worked along the edges to diffuse the color into my crease. It wore well for 10 hours without fading or creasing on me.
