Drop a Pin is a soft, yellow gold with moderate, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It had medium, buildable coverage when applied with a duo-fiber stippling brush and nearly opaque coverage if applied with fingertips. The consistency was very smooth, lightly spongy, and felt wet when I touched it with my fingertip. It applied evenly to bare skin and worked well over liquid foundation as it did not lift up my base. It stayed on well for nine and a half hours on me.
