Vivrant Thing is a muted, medium orange with moderate, warm undertones and flecks of sparkle over a matte finish. The sparkles dispersed too readily, so they were hard to keep in place with precision, and there was some fallout over time, though most of them disappeared to parts unknown.
The texture was soft, moderately powdery with light fallout during application as well. It had good color payoff but was best worked wit over a primer to ensure it stayed mostly opaque and could be built up. This shade stayed on well for eight hours before fading a bit.
