Saute is a soft, dirty taupe with warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic sheen that shifted to green. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation with a soft, more loosely-pressed texture that worked best with flat, synthetic brushes and pressing/patting motions on the lid. This shade wore well for eight hours on me before it started to show signs of wear.
