Nouveau is a rich, medium-dark gold with warm, orange undertones and a metallic finish. It had opaque pigmentation that applied well to bare skin. The consistency was soft without being too firmly nor too softly pressed in the pan, so it adhered well to bare skin but also blended out nicely. It stayed on for eight hours before it started to show signs of fading.
