Good as Gateau is a pale, white gold with soft, warmer undertones and a pearly sheen. It had good pigmentation that was buildable to full coverage with a second layer. The consistency was denser but felt a little slippery, yet not creamy--it almost felt like a dried-out cream product to me. It blended out without too much effort, but it didn't appear as smooth overall as I expected. It wore well for eight hours on me before fading slightly.
