ColourPop Sucker Blotted Lips ($5.00 for 0.035 oz.) is a soft, medium coral with warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had semi-sheer, buildable coverage to medium opacity. The lipstick had a very lightweight feel--almost weightless--that was thin without feeling clingy. The texture was firmer initially, but it melted and felt more velvety after half a second on the lips. It wore well for four hours on me and wasn't drying.
The Blotted Lip formula is described as a "sheer matte lipstick" that has "buildable" coverage that ranges from "light to medium" and has a "lightweight" feel. The formula had an interesting texture--firmer, waxy but velvety like a more silicone-heavy formula would feel--so it glided on with ease after it warmed up against the lips but initially felt quite firm in the tube. They look more like a lip stain than lipstick on the lips, as the consistency is thin and adheres well to lips--without emphasizing the texture of them--and the semi-sheer to medium coverage reinforces the stain-like appearance. The wear was average (usually around four hours) but was non-drying.
