Royal Prerogative is a soft, medium-dark brown with warm, reddish undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was soft with a touch of dustiness, but it was very blendable and buildable, so I didn't feel like it sheered out on the lid or lost intensity. It would be a bit better over a primer, though. It had mostly opaque pigmentation, and the color stayed true for eight hours before fading.
