Congo Basin is a muted, medium olive green with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was firmer and stiffer with a thinner feel to it, and unfortunately, it was harder to blend out on my skin (with and without primer). It had opaque pigmentation, and it worked decently when layered with some of the other deeper mattes in the palette, but I couldn't get the edge to really spread and soften as much as I wanted to. This shade lasted well for eight hours on me before fading noticeably.
