Coloured Raine Cocoa Goddess Bronzer ($16.00 for 0.3 oz.) is a slightly muted, dark brown with neutral-to-warm undertones and a matte finish. It was opaque in its coverage with very little product; one needed a light hand and could still get more semi-opaque coverage! As it wasn't the most forgiving in texture when it came to blending--especially over bare skin--using a light hand was essential making it work.
The consistency felt smooth enough to the touch, but it was slightly thin and drier to me, which may be what gave it the ultra-matte finish it had. Unfortunately, I have found this type of texture doesn't seem to interact as well with my skin and often looks patchy with product adhering strongly from the initial application but not spreading or blending out readily.
I'd recommend this formula only for someone who would be applying it over set-foundation; I think that drier, bare skin will find this attracts and accentuates flakiness. It was also easiest to blend out using a larger, buffer brush (clean of any product) or using the remnants of my foundation to soften the edges. It stayed on well for eight hours before showing signs of fading.
