Beast is a medium-dark brown with subtle, warm red undertones and had a mostly matte finish, though there were a smattering of gold sparkles in the pan. The majority sparkles disappeared, whether trapped in my brush or blended away, so there was slight fallout during application but not much in the way of residual fallout during wear. The pigmentation was great, while the eyeshadow diffused easily along the edges and had good adherence to bare skin. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me.
