NOTICE: All products categorized under "Glitter" contain Polyethylene Terephthalate, also known as plastic or PET glitter, and it is typically cosmetic grade glitter. Inclusion of this ingredient sometimes carries a warning (in the US) that the product is "not intended for use in the immediate eye area." This ingredient has not been approved for usage on the eyes per the FDA. In recent years, some brands are including this product in their eyeshadows without any warning or callout and effectively marketing them as eyeshadows or including a symbol of an "eye" which suggests eye usage. Via CosIng for EU, PET glitter is permitted without any restrictions or limitations. For an in-depth look at whether cosmetic grade glitter is safe, please view this post.

Editor's Review

Prima Drama is a peachy mix of glitter--both finer and larger, chunkier glitter--that shifted a bit from peach to copper. When I tried to photograph this shade straight-on, it looked like teal glitter, which was inaccurate, so I only kept the swatch that represents what I saw (both straight-on, in person, and when angled). It had more medium coverage when applied with fingertips (as recommended by the brand), and it did have an emollient base, which helped the glitter to adhere to skin.

As a cheek highlighter, it definitely lost its interest when sheered out--it looked a bit textured and just didn't catch the light as nicely as when it was worn at higher-coverage. It was better when applied over another blush or bronzer, which gave it a bit more depth and helped the glitter contrast against the underlying cheek color. There was minimal glitter that had traveled beyond where I had applied it after eight hours of wear.

It's a new formula called Pressed Glitter, which is "not intended for use in the immediate eye area." For me, my eyes can be on the more sensitive side, and I tend to be wary of glitter, so I only tested this formula on my cheeks (as a highlighter). I wish this advisory was on the palette/box that one receives (I looked but couldn't find it); it's only listed with the shade's ingredient list.
