Prickly is a rich, violet purple with subtle, cool undertones and a pearly sheen. It had opaque pigmentation paired with a denser, firmer texture that packed lots of pigment and adhered evenly but did not blend out as well as other shades--I could soften the edge enough for a more opaque product but trying to use it in the crease (like a matte) and needing to really diffuse it resulted in some patchiness. It wore well for eight and a half hours before creasing.
